The cheaper entry-level iPhone rumor refuses to die down and today we have heard from the semi-reliable Japanese website Macotakara of some of the possible color variationsthat Apple is testing. Apparently the first run of colors will be Navy, Gold Orange, White and Gray and White, Pink, Green, Blue and Yellow-orange are in the second. Surprisingly no black model was mentioned, which seems strange.
It is believed that Apple will be testing these colors in small quantities and not all of them will likely make the cut. Apparently the fruit company will be producing 1,000 units for field test from June, and during July-September Apple will start mass producing for shipping.
If the report is to believed it looks like we’re in for a colorful future!
Entry-Level iPhone To Come In 9 Different Colors

Some information on the iPhone 5S was also shared.
According to Macotakara the iPhone 5S will have dual-LED flash and also a re-designed mic-hole that will be shaped as a circle and placed between the iSight camera and flash. It was also stated that the iPhone 5S will have new color options as well; possibly 3 additional colors on top of the standard black and white.
Considering that we are nearly at the half way point of the year and Apple hasn’t released any new products it means it is going to finish the year off with a bang just in time for the Holidays. A lot of the rumors we have been hearing have claimed that Apple will get more colorful with its products, so we will just have to wait and see whether or not the fruit company actually goes down this road.
